Analytics page interface
Table of Contents
đź”’Included in ALCMEON CARE ESSENTIAL, ALCMEON CARE ENTERPRISE
Alcmeon's Analytics section is made up of pages that all have the same interface.
In this article, discover the main features common to all these pages, which allow you to filter your data, group it by criteria, export it, create automated reports, and even access the messages and conversations that are “behind” the figures presented.
Â

The 7 main areas of the page are:
- A - Choice of dates
- B - Filter the data
- C - Group the data
- D - Group date data
- E - Create exports and reports
- F - Graphic
- G - Results table
Â
A - Choice of dates
Select the period you wish to study here: choose its start date and end date.
You'll notice that across different Analytics pages, the nature of these dates can vary from one page to another. The date type was chosen to ensure that the data presented remains stable over time, so it doesn't change depending on whether you view it a day or a month later, for example.
Especially :
- The Volumes > Incoming Flow pages are based on the “received date” of the Client message in Alcmeon.
- The Volumes > Processed Messages or Conversations pages are based on the “action date”, i.e. the date on which the action of processing the Customer message was taken by a bot or an advisor.
- The Deadlines > first response time per message pages are based on the “response date” by an advisor to the Customer message.
- The Timelines > First Response Time per conversation pages are based on the “conversation start date,” which is the date the first message in the conversation was received.
Â
B - Filter the data
At the top of the page, drop-down menus allow you to filter the data presented according to certain criteria.
The list of these criteria depends on which ones are applicable on the page in question, but you will almost always find:
- Account : A list of social or messaging accounts you have connected to Alcmeon. You can select one or more.
- Channel : A list of channels (e.g., Facebook Comments, Messenger, Instagram Story Replies, etc.) for accounts you've connected to Alcmeon. You can select one or more.
- Team : Lists the teams you've created in Alcmeon to which messages reviewed on this page may have been routed. You can select one or more.
- Role : Lists the permission roles for Alcmeon users who were able to perform a processing action on the messages reviewed on this page. You can select one or more. This menu only appears if the date is of the "action date" type.
The “More criteria…” button allows you to add other criteria to the page, such as “Action author (details)” which lists all Alcmeon users, bots or humans; or one of your qualification tags depending on what you have configured.
The “Clear all criteria” button resets this list of criteria, except for the selected date range.
Â
C - Group the data
These tabs are one of the most powerful tools on these Analytics pages as they allow you to change how the data on the page is grouped.
By default, the selected tab is the date grouping, the same date as the one selected at the top left of the page. The rows in the results table are therefore all the dates in the period you have chosen.
But you can also choose, for example, to group "by Team": the rows in the results table will then be each of your teams. On each row, you will be able to view the cumulative figures for the entire period chosen for each team.
Â
D - Group date data
These buttons are only available when you choose to group data by date. In this case, you are given a second option to group by day, month, or time of day.
You also have access here to buttons that simply change the appearance of the graph: curves or bars (histogram).
Â
E - Create exports and reports
To download the results table as displayed on the page in Excel format, simply click on the “Export data to Excel” button.
The “Create a report” button allows you to configure a recurring report, which will be sent to you at the frequency you want by email or on an sFTP (option for developers) previously configured in the “Settings / sFTP Servers” section.

The criteria and data groupings you chose on the page are retained in the configuration of this report.
You can choose to be the only person to receive this report, or add colleagues who will receive the exact same data as you.
If you receive the report by email, you will receive an email from @alcmeon.com with the subject line of the report you configured here, and an Excel file attached. This Excel file contains the results table as displayed on the page (same columns).
The frequency of receiving a report can be:
- Yesterday: you receive the previous day's data every night
- Calendar week: you receive the previous week's data every Monday morning
- Last 7 days: you receive data for the last 7 rolling days every night
- Current week: you receive data every night since the previous Monday
- Calendar month: you receive the data for the previous month on the 1st of each month
- Last 30 days: you receive data for the last 30 rolling days every night
- Current month: you receive data every night since the 1st of the current month
- Quarter: you receive the data for the previous quarter every 3 months (on the first day of the quarter)
Â
F - Graphic
The graph displayed on the page can be in “curve” or “bar (histogram)” format, which you can choose with the buttons of the same name.
By default, the graph displays data from the first column of the results table. However, you can click on each column header to choose to display up to four of them simultaneously in the graph. Click again on a selected column header to deselect it and make that metric disappear from the graph.
Â
G - Results table
The results table displays all the data from your query, based on the criteria you selected and the data grouping tab displayed at the top of the page.
Each column contains an icon (?): by hovering your mouse over it you will have more details on the metric concerned.
Clicking on a column header allows you to control the metrics displayed in the chart (see the previous paragraph).
Â
Data details

The most interesting feature of this table is the ability to click on the underlined numbers . By clicking on a number, a window opens to list what has been counted for that number. For example, by clicking on X number of conversations, you will have access to the list of these X conversations.
This list is accompanied by a lot of metadata, and in particular when it comes to messages or conversations, the link opening this message or this conversation in the Conversation Page .
Note: You can only click on numbers < 500 due to platform performance reasons.
