Message status tabs

This is the main navigation of the Inbox . There are 4 tabs, in which each message from your customers is “stored”.
Note: a message is always present in only one of these tabs, and only one, because the same message can only have one status at a given time.
Receipts

This is the inbox tab where all your customer messages that have not yet been processed and are not currently being processed are located.
The number shown in a bubble to its right is the number of messages received.
In progress

This tab is the one that appears by default when an advisor opens the inbox. It lists messages that are currently being processed by you or by other advisors. By default, the list of messages currently being processed by you opens, as the messages in this tab are obviously the most urgent for you to handle.
It is also possible to access messages currently being processed by another advisor: in Alcmeon a message is never “blocked” and an advisor always has access to his team's messages, even if another advisor is already working on them.
Under this tab, links are displayed to navigate between these different statuses:
- In Progress by Me : The messages listed are those you have assigned to yourself or have been assigned to you (automatically or by a supervisor), plus any messages you have snoozed, and any messages you have requested help with but have not yet received a response to.
- Assigned to Others : Lists messages assigned to other advisors.
- Held by others : Lists messages that another advisor has put on hold.
- Help Requests : Lists messages for which an advisor has requested help. This is the tab that opens by default for a supervisor profile with the “Respond to Help Requests” permission.
The numbers shown in bubbles to the right of the tab correspond, firstly, to the number of messages in progress from you, and secondly, to the number of messages in progress from other advisors.
Answered

Here you will find all your customer messages that have received a response. Their processing is therefore complete.
Under this tab, links are displayed to navigate between different statuses:
- by me : lists messages you have replied to
- by others : lists messages replied to by other advisors
Archives

Similar to replied messages, your customers' messages that have been archived are displayed here. Their processing is therefore complete.
Under this tab, links are displayed to navigate between different statuses:
- by me : lists messages you have archived
- by others : lists messages archived by other advisors
📄 NB: What does “archive” mean? This is an important action in Alcmeon, meaning “to decide not to respond.” So, when a client message doesn't require a response, the advisor archives it to complete processing without having to send a response to the client.
🦊 Tip: After responding to a customer, there's no need to archive that message, even if you consider the conversation over!
