Create a scenario
From your bot scenarios list, click the “ New scenario ” button to create a bot scenario.
In the next step:
- choose the channel on which you want to create this scenario
- give your scenario a name
- Click on the scenario template you are interested in or create your own from an empty scenario

🦊 Tip: Add the date you are publishing or plan to publish your scenario to your scenario name. You can change a scenario name at any time.
Your scenario is created with the “Inactive” status by default, so consider publishing it later!

Create a scenario from a template
By using a template to create your scenario, you have a diagram already composed of several steps. You will find a complete description of our bot editor and its possibilities in the next chapter.
Quick Start
- Start by reading the Notes included in the diagram; these are the yellow sticky notes. These Notes give you instructions on the initial, often mandatory, changes you need to make to this scenario, or additional settings you need to make before you can publish your bot.
- Edit the texts as you wish by clicking on the “pencil” icons available in each step.
- For menu steps, feel free to remove or add options as needed, or even reorder them by dragging and dropping.
- Save your scenario regularly with the button located at the top right
- When you're ready, click the "Published" button and save : your bot is now live and available for your customers to use, instantly!
🦊 Tip: If this is your first bot scenario on a particular channel, we recommend creating it first on a test account set up for this purpose, and when you are satisfied, duplicating it on your production account.
